Swifts take 6-2 victory over New Home

In advance of the Region 1 baseball playoffs, the Nazareth swifts won a victory over New Home, 6-2. The Swifts drew a bye in the bi-district round and advanced directly to the regional quarterfinals beginning on Thursday. They will face Borden County.

Bobcats defeated by Friona 12-7

The Dimmitt Bobcats fell to the Friona Chieftains, 12-7, finalizing a season of baseball. The Chieftains scored five runs in the first inning to take strong lead. The Bobcats came in with three runs in the second and third innings, to narrow the score to 5-3.
