Collision kills New Mexico university golf team members

A fiery collision killed a golf coach and six students from University of the Southwest in Hobbs, New Mexico. The crash happened last Tuesday just outside Andrews, Texas, the Texas Department of Public Safety said, as the golf team was returning home.

Tornado destroys Round Rock homes, businesses

Two confirmed tornadoes hit Williamson County on Monday evening, damaging or destroying about 1,000 homes and businesses, said County Judge Bill Gravell. Emergency Medical Services also did not transport anyone with critical or serious injuries, the judge said.

RES holds ‘College Week’ coloring contest

While it may seem very far off in the future for elementary school students, it is critical for parents, teachers and staff to start conversations about college early so that students can begin to learn why higher education is an important part of their future.
