Nazareth 4-H members attended the South Plains District 2 4-H Gold Star Banquet on Monday. Tell Bagley and Tagan Ramsey were among the 24 Gold Star winners from around the district. Chloe Birkenfeld kicked the evening off with a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Nazareth junior high and elementary students competed in the 3-1A Academic UIL meet on Nov. 18. Both divisions won the overall meet. Junior high students accumulated 979 points while elementary competitors earned 1131 points.

Nazareth honors veterans

Nazareth community honored it veterans in a ceremony held at Nazareth High School on Veterans Day. More than 20 veterans were treated to breakfast at the school cafeteria and joined citizens and students at the Naz High School gym where the ceremony began with the presentation of the colors.
