Bobbies fall to Fillies

The Dimmitt Bobbies lost their second district game to the Denver City Fillies, 18-8. “We struggled in this game with pitching, hitting and field errors,” said Coach Vicky Ruiz. “We did go six innings, but our bats came into play too late to keep the game going.

DHS Bobcats & Bobbies Tennis

DHS Sam and luke Settle took second place in boys doubles, losing 6-8 in the championship round. DHS Eduardo Peralta and Gamaliel Vazquez won third in boys' doubles. DHS Josh Castillo and Natalie Bonilla won third in mixed doubles.

Bobcats defeat Wildcats

The Dimmitt Bobcats walked away with victory over the Littlefield Wildcats, 9-6. Neither team put runs on the board in the first and second innings, but both brought in a run in the third inning.

The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a tough defeat to the Childress Bobcats, 11-1. Dimmitt came through with a run in the first inning, as did Childress, tying the game up.

The Dimmitt Bobcats fell to the Nazareth Swifts, 7-2. The Bobcats came in with a run in the first inning. The Swifts battled back and scored two runs in the third inning, with Dimmitt coming in with one run, to tie the game up 2-2.

Bobcats fall to Mustangs

The Dimmitt Bobcats were edged out by single run by the Denver City Mustangs this past Friday, 5-4. Neither team scored in the first two innings, but the Mustangs brought in three runs in the third inning to take the lead.
