The Dimmitt Bobcats came in a big win at the homecoming game against the Bovina Mustangs, 4828.The Bobcats had three first downs, 33 rushes for 340 yards, two passes and receptions for 74 yards, nine penalties for 85 yards, and one third down conversion for 5 yards.

The Dimmitt Bobcats started their season off with a big win over the Memphis Cyclones, 40-0, this past Friday night.The Bobcats had 16 first downs, 34 rushes for 249 yards, six completed passes of 10 attempts for 123 yards, no fumbles and two penalties for 10 yards.

The Hart Longhorns kicked off their season with a win on Friday’s home non-conference game against West Texas Tornadoes 46-0.Tradien Worsham led the rushing with 224 yards on seven carries scoring four touchdowns, and three receptions for 64 yards and one touchdown.

Kixi Meador, great-granddaughter of George and Pat Bagley of Dimmitt, has won the AJQHA World Championship in the L2 Working Cow Horse competition riding Bearly Reining (called Hope). The AJQHA championship show was held in Oklahoma City on Aug. 1-3.
