Abbott announces reward for shooting suspects at Pearland

Governor Greg Abbott announced a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and capture of Texas DPS top 10 fugitives involved in a shooting at a Pearland flea market on Sunday. The shooting incident killed one child and injured four others at Cole’s Flea Market.

The Lord observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil. So, the Lord was sorry he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart.

School Pictures

I wish I still had my old school pictures. As I recall, my schools didn’t offer individual pictures until the junior and senior grades. We had only class pictures. Professional photographers grouped us by rows with taller students standing in the top back rows and shortest sitting in the front row.

Nazareth FFA competed in the District LDEs and will be sending 20 students and seven teams to the area contest. Twenty- four students competed in 12 events. District LDE results: Senior Creed Speaking (20 teams) - Chloe Birkenfeld, first place and will advance; Miles Nelson placed 15th.

Marijuana ordinance headed to Lubbock voters

The Lubbock City Council has decided to send an ordinance that would decriminalize low-level, personal use marijuana to the voters in May. This came after the Freedom Act Lubbock’s petition was verified to have the required number of valid signatures on Nov. 2.

Nazareth Robotics teams came out of the competition gaits running with a strong start to the 2023-24 FTC Robotics season. The first League Meet was held on Nov.

WTAMU Meat Judging team won the university’s first National Championship after competing in Nebraska this week. Ryan Heitschmidt from Nazareth was fifth high individual at the event and named 2nd Team All American.
