Durward “Butch” Strickland Jr., 71, joined fellow saints at the feet of our Savior on Aug. 23, 2022, in College Station, Texas. His passing is only the next step in a life lived in service to Jesus Christ as a pastor and missionary on three continents.

Mae Hargrove, 90, a longtime resident of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, in Dimmitt, Texas. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Dimmitt with Rev. Eliezer Garrivo officiating.

Julia Gayle (Podzemny) Bennett, age 40, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Bhaskar Adusupalli, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld and Deacon Joe Hochstein as celebrants.

Jacky F. Dunn, D.O., 74, of Russellville, Arkansas passed away on Aug. 10, 2022, at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. He was born Sept. 26, 1947, in Lamesa, Texas to Fred and Hazel (Reynolds) Dunn.

Maria Del Rosario Quiroz, age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 18, 2022, in Amarillo, Texas surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Dec. 25, 1953, in Ciudad Juarez to Sotero Garcia and Andrea Barragan. She married Luciano Quiroz on Sept. 3, 1968, in Guadalupe D. B. Chihuahua, Mexico.
