My Millennial neighbors – very nice people – asked me what it was like to be a Baby Boomer. I scratched my head like I was having a complex though, but actually, it was just dandruff. Then I started talking.

I know parents are asking themselves this question today: As a parent concerned about the safety of my child at school how do I get involved? I know many are feeling helpless to effect change.

Dating

I often eat lunch with a group of downtown buddies. Last meeting, we discussed our dating years. Some of these guys are currently unmarried, but not by choice. A few of them have something to offer a lady, but others might be disqualified from reputable dating sites.

As Memorial Day approaches and we honor our fallen soldiers, does anyone give any thought to the men and women who are responsible for notifying the families? To those who work intimately with the families of the fallen what is possibly the grimmest moment that can occur?
