TTU name on Military Times ‘Best for Vets’

For the ninth straight year, Texas Tech University has earned a spot on the 2021 Military Times’ Best for Vets: Colleges rankings. This year, the university ranked 62nd overall and 49th among public institutions. Texas Tech has been on this list every year since 2013.

More federal government overreach by the USDA and ridiculous spending has the taxpayer footing the bill on an absurd lawsuit. The USDA is in a dispute against a South Dakota farm family over a mud puddle. Said mud puddle is in the middle of prime farmland.

I am a “small government” kind of person, and I am tired of being taxed to death. Taxation is basically theft from the citizens. Use this as a comparison: Imagine that I have founded a charity organization that helps the poor.

For those who cling to the U3 unemployment charts, it might look as if some things have really improved. But it isn’t a complete picture. I stick to the U6 report – considered to be the actual unemployment rate because it more inclusive. The current U6 unemployment rate as of May 2021 is 10.

Well, the governor’s office and Texas politicians are cheering for the so-called “Constitutional Carry” bill that should be signed soon and put into law. My opinion is that it has so many restrictions and lacks real “teeth and spine.
