Nazareth Academic UIL state qualifiers traveled to compete in their respective competitions this past Wednesday.

Dimmitt HOSA members were invited to present to the Texas Association of School Boards at WTAMU. They presented their year including Sports Medicine, Health Education, CNA/PCT, Health Careers, Teddy Bear Clinic, and Health Career Photography. Department Head of Nursing, Dr. Holly Jeffreys met with them following the presentations, congratulating them on their year’s accomplishments, and encouraging them to further their education with hopes of attending WTAMU. Dimmitt HOSA advisor is Lacey Bethke, RN, DHS Health Science Technology.

DHS honors athletes at banquet

Dimmitt High School held its Athletic Awards Banquet this last Tuesday to honor Bobbies and Bobcats athletes and managers in cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, baseball, softball, track and field, golf and tennis.

Swifts clench quarterfinals title

The Nazareth Swifts won both of the Regional quarterfi nals games against Borden County Coyotes with two big victories - 15-3 and 11-1. The games were played at Sundown High School this past Thursday and Friday.
