The Nazareth Swiftettes had a strong start into the playoffs with a Bi-District win over the Pringle-Morse Cougars, 83-16. The Swiftettes dominated the game from the first tip off to the final buzzer, pushing out front for a 36-point lead in the first quarter.
The Nazareth Swifts, nearing the end of the regular season, clenched a close conference win against the Happy Cowboys, 31-27. Happy took the lead in the first quarter, 8-3, but the Swift took a two-point lead in the second quarter to end the first half 15-13 over the Cowboys.

Dimmitt and Hart powerlifting teams competed at the Levelland Invitational Powerlifting Meet this past weekend. The girls competition had 104 lifters from 14 schools, and the boys competition had 131 lifters from 15 schools.
The Nazareth Swifts are headed into their last district game against Happy after defeating the Lazbuddie Longhorns, 84-11. The Swifts are undefeated in district play thus far.

The Swiftettes offensive and defense dominated the game, holding the Lazbuddie squad to eight points for all four quarters, while Naz shooters racked up big points starting off with a 20-point lead in the first quarter.
The Nazareth Swiftettes ended their regular season with a win over the Happy Girls, 48-31, taking the district championship. Nazareth will head into the playoffs next week, with teams and times to be announced.
