Chamber golf tourney set Aug. 12

The Dimmitt Chamber of Commerce is already gearing up their annual golf tournament, set for Aug. 12 at Dimmitt Recreation and Country Club.
The event will feature a four-person scramble at $400 per team and includes a meal, drink tickets, two mulligans per golfer and one raffle ticket per golfer.

Nazareth FFA students attended the Area Leadership Conference at Clarendon College and for the fourth year had the Best Chapter T-Shirts. While the Naz girls attending the ALC Banquet had taken official dress but were cut short on getting ready due to a tornado warning.
WTAMU senior name CNFR men’s all-around cowboy

A West Texas A&M University senior scored big at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming. CNFR was held June 11 to 17.
Quade Hiatt, a senior marketing major from Canyon, won the men’s all-around event at the finals, scoring 365 total points, more than triple of his nearest competitor.

Titan debris found, passengers lost

Naz Swifts fall in state semifinals
