Nazareth and Hart track and field athletes competed at the Kress High School Relays this past Thursday in a field that included Hale Center, Springlake-Earth, Kress, Hart, Lazbuddie, Lorenzo and Nazareth.

Bobbies drop game to Lady Mules, 20-1

The Dimmitt Bobbies softball team fell to the Muleshoe Lady Mules last Tuesday, 20-1. Dimmitt hitters came in with one run in the first inning, with Muleshoe coming in with three runs in the first inning and 17 runs in the second.

Bobcats fall to Mustangs

The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a loss to the Denver City Mustangs, 13-3. The Mustangs got the jump in the first inning, bringing in five runners, giving them a 5-0 lead going into the second inning.

Registration for TFB ENGAGE program open

Texas students in the graduating class of 2025 and 2024 (sophomores or juniors in August 2022) can now sign up for the Texas Farm Bureau ENGAGE program. This learning experience is part of TFB Student Success Series.

DHS Bobbies lifters earn state medals

The Dimmitt Bobbies powerlifters attended the THSWPA State Championships, 3A Small School, in Corpus Christi this past weekend and returned with two medals. The Dimmitt girls’ team has consistently qualified lifters for the state championships since the program began a few years ago.

Bobcats medal at THSPA Regionals

The Dimmitt Bobcats Powerlifting qualifying lifters at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association (THSPA) Regional meet this past weekend. Representing DHS at the contest were The seven Bobcats were among lifters competing from 26 schools at Sundown in hopes of advancing to the state meet.

DISD honors athletic trainers

Dimmitt High School, as a part of Athletic Trainer Recognition Month in is honoring its athletic trainers and student athletic trainers. Karlee Gluszek joined Dimmitt ISD in 2020.

Nazareth advances in playoffs

The Nazareth Swifts won the Area title against the Turkey Valley Patriots, 57-49, last Thursday night played at Amarillo High School. The Swifts (15-9, 10,2) advanced to the Regional quarterfinals to play the Wildorado Mustangs (28-7,8-4) at Caprock High School on Tuesday .
