Texas Senate passes bill aimed at protecting women’s sports

The Senate approved a bill that would make the possession of a loose catalytic converter itself a crime.

State sales tax revenue $3.6B in March

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar on Monday said state sales tax revenue totaled $3.57 billion in March, 5.9 percent more than in March 2022. The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.
