Bobcats lifters take team first at Lockney

The Dimmitt and Hart boys powerlifters competed at the Lockney Longhorns on Monday, with the DHS Bobcats claiming a first place. There were 53 powerlifters at the meet from six schools.

Bobbies powerlifters capture top honors

The Dimmitt Bobbies powerlifters competed at the Frenship Tiger Invitational this past weekend and racked up another first-place team win. Dimmitt was among 84 lifters from 12 schools at the THSWPA meet.

Swiftettes beat Lady Wolverines, 62-27

The Nazareth Swiftettes chalked up another win after defeating Springlake Earth, 62-27.

Swiftettes win over Lady Roos, 65-26

The Nazareth Swiftettes chalked up another win as the end of the season nears, beating the Lady Roos, 6526. Nazareth move out ahead in the first quarter, 12-9 and extended the lead to 35-16 by halftime.

Swiftettes defeat Ladyhorns, 100-12

The Nazareth Swiftettes took a big win over the Hart Ladyhorns last Wednesday, 100-12. The Swiftettes hit for 46 of 80 field goals with six of 20 three pointers, two of six free throws, collected 40 rebounds, had 35 assists, 24 steals, one block and seven fouls.

Swifts defeat Longhorns, 64-19

The Nazareth Swifts claimed another victory over the Hart Longhorns, 64-19. The Swifts took an 11-0 lead in the first quarter and extended their lead to 31-9 by the end of the second quarter.

Swifts beat Roos, 89-29

The Nazareth Swifts came in with win on Tuesday against the Kress Kangaroos, 89-29. The Swifts dominated the game through all four quarters, starting with a 21 point lead in the first quarter, adding another 10 points in the second quarter to close out the first half 41-10.
