Bobbies fall to Lady Mustangs

The Dimmitt Bobbies dropped a game to the Denver City Lady Mustangs, 30-7, this last Saturday. Denver City got the jump on the Bobbies in the first inning with 11 runs. The Bobbies came in with four runs, leaving them trailing, 11-4.

In elementary school, a teacher advised us to “Face the world with a smile.” I discovered that might not be the best plan. For instance, if I saw another kid get in trouble for talking, I loved it. I would laugh, the teacher would notice, and suddenly I was the culprit.
