The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is currently seeking applicants for collegiate student internships across Texas. Student trainee positions include soil conservationists, rangeland management specialists and engineers.

Naz FFA vet science places 5th in online contest The Nazareth FFA vet science team placed in the Top 5 teams in the TAMU AgriLife Extension National Online Vet Science Contest held in mid-October. Nazareth place fifth overall behind A&M Consolidated, Stratford, Brenham and Denton Guyer.

Nazareth ISD held its 13th Lamb Jackpot &Clinic this past weekend. Ag Texas sponsored the event. Sixty-nine lambs from across the Texas Panhandle participated.

The Dimmitt Bobcat Marching Band scored a 1st Division Superior rating with "all 1's" at the Texas UIL Marching Evaluation on Oct. 16 in Amarillo, qualifying them to compete in the Area A Marching Contest at Lowery Field in Lubbock this Saturday, Oct 23. The band will perform at :45.
