Naz FFA to hold lamb jackpot, clinic

The Nazareth FFA will be holding its Lamb Jackpot and Clinic on Oct. 19. The event is limited to FFA and 4-H members. The scales will open at 7:30 a.m. and weight cards are due by 9 a.m. The clinic will be from 9 to 10 a.m. with showmanship classes for junior, intermediate and senior participants.

Remember that old saying “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?” I thought about this today while chewing fried chicken. I don’t know what other birds are worth, but I had to pay for the chicken. Seriously, the quote goes back to ancient times.
