Dallas PD make arrests following interview

The Dallas Police Department arrested two men in connection a fatal shooting in March after interviewing Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph who was a person of interest. The DPD were seeking an interview this past week with the Dallas player about his involvement in the shooting.

WTAMU’s Engler College of Business to host golf tourney

Fire scorches fence

Fires can quickly break out and do damage, as Dimmitt resident Glenn Hatla discovered. While in Amarillo, he received a call from his son that his fence was on fire.

National Telecommunicators Week

As a part of National Telecommunicators Week, Sheriff Sal Rivera offered a big “Thank You” to the Castro County Sheriff’s Office 911 operators for being the lifeline for law enforcement officers, fire departments, EMS and communities in the county. Rivera said they are the “unseen heroes.
