U-3 shows unemployment rates slightly slower

Dallas PD make arrests following interview

The Dallas Police Department arrested two men in connection a fatal shooting in March after interviewing Dallas Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph who was a person of interest. The DPD were seeking an interview this past week with the Dallas player about his involvement in the shooting.

WTAMU’s Engler College of Business to host golf tourney

Teams of four are sought for West Texas A&M University’s first Paul and Virginia Engler College of Business Golf Classic, set for April 28. The tournament, which will raise funds for scholarships in the Engler College of Business, will begin at 1 p.m.

HPWD deadline approaching for proposals

Applications for research/demonstration funding with High Plains Underground Water Conservation District (HPWD) are due Monday, May 2. A standard application form is available on the HPWC district web site at hpwd.org/research and should accompany the proposal.
