CCH to host Blue Ribbon Ceremony at courthouse

Castro County is joining the nation in proclaiming April as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month. The Plains Memorial Hospital Trauma Program will be holding an event on the Castro County courthouse grounds at the gazebo on April 8 at 1:30 p.m.

The Dimmitt Bobbies softball team fell to the Muleshoe Lady Mules last Tuesday, 20-1. Dimmitt hitters came in with one run in the first inning, with Muleshoe coming in with three runs in the first inning and 17 runs in the second.

The Dimmitt Bobcats suffered a loss to the Denver City Mustangs, 13-3. The Mustangs got the jump in the first inning, bringing in five runners, giving them a 5-0 lead going into the second inning.
