The annual Meet the Bobcats and Bobbies event will be held on August 12 at 7 p.m. Team line up for cross country, volleyball and football will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the designated locations.

Castro County 4-H Tell Bagley compet ed at t he Texas Sta te 4-H Horse Show this past week in Bryan. He was neck and neck in the Al l Around ra ce and but for a simple lead change mistake, he might have brought home the titl e. Bagley was Reserve i n Horsemanship and placed 6th in Cutting.
