Longhorns defeat Jaguars

The Hart Longhorns scored a big victory against the Gutherie Jaguars this past Friday, 68-18. Hart got the action underway with a touchdown in the first quarter, with an Ely Hernandez 5-yard run, and an extra point on a kick by Draven Dominguez, to put Hart in the lead 8-0.

DMS opens season with wins over Sunray

The Dimmitt Middle School 7th grade football team won Thursday's matchup against Sunray with a score of 14-6. The team was led by running back Victor Lozano who had a great game with 132 rushing yards, two touchdowns and one twopoint conversion.

The Dimmitt Bobcats played the Sunray Bobcats this past Friday and lost the contest, 50-6. The first three quarters saw the DHS team struggling to gain yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, the Sunray team put 33 points on the scoreboard.
