Randy Pope, 68, died on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.

Hugh Wayne Acker, 60 of Nazareth, passed away Oct. 29, 2020 in Amarillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth with the Rev. Bhaskar Adusupalli, Deacon Bob Birkenfeld and Deacon Joe Hochstein as celebrants. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery under the care of Colonial Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30, at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Sandra Jean Lewis went to be with our Lord and Savior in the early morning on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, in her home in Temple, Texas. Sandra was born in Scurry County on October 19, 1939, to Robert Warren Boyd and Otha Jewel Boyd.

Agnes Schilling, 82 of Dimmitt, Texas, passed away Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Nov. 2, at 10 a.m. at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Celebrants Arockiaraj Malapady and Nicholas Gerber, and Deacons Jackie Gunnels and Kyle Broderson; burial to follow at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Dimmitt. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Viewing will be Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosary/vigil will be Sunday evening at 6 p.m. at the church.

Petra “Betty” Medrano Montiel, 72 of Hart, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 in Plainview, Texas. A Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m., Oct. 24, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Mullins offciating; burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Colonial Funeral Home.
