The Nazareth Swiftettes soundly beat the Adrian Lady Matadors, 73-7. The Swiftettes took a big lead in the first quarter, 23-0 and continued to make big gains in the second quarter, while the defense held Adrian to two points. The first half ended with Nazareth ahead, 39-2.

The Swiftettes collected another win, beating the Abernathy Lady Antelopes, 54-26. The Swiftettes gained a lead early in the first quarter, getting up on the Lady Antelopes 17-5. Naz continued to make gains in the second quarter, closing the first half ahead, 28-11.

Kids, Inc. cancels basketball

Due to Covid-19 concerns, Castro County Kids, Inc. will not be having basketball this season. According to an announcement on Facebook, Benny Navarro said parents don’t want their kids involved due to the risks at this time.
