The Dimmitt Bobcats fell to the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes, 77-47. The Bobcats shot for19/44 (43%) field goals with 4/18 (22%) 3-point shots, and 5/14 (36%) free throws. They collected 22 rebounds, eight assists, seven steals and one block.

Swiftettes near end of regular season

The Nazareth Swiftettes scored a handy win against the Hartley Lady Tigers on Friday, 66-17. The Swiftettes held the Lady Tigers scoreless the first quarter and put 14 points on the points to take the lead, 14-0.

WTAMU Upward Bound selects ambassadors

The WTAMU TRIO Upward Bound program selected the leadership ambassadors, with several from Dimmitt High School. Ambassadors include Heidi Cantu, Melanie Esqueda, Martin Rodriguez, Julie Santana, Xitlalic Villarreal, Os valdo Espinoza-Martinez, Masaratu Sheriff, Shaleigh Long and Omar Sanchez.

Swiftettes v Hale Center The Nazareth Swiftettes claimed a big victory over the Hale Center Lady Owls, 79- 14. The Swiftettes shot for 29/54 (54%) field goals with 4/11 (35%) 3-pointers, 17/22 (77%) free throws, collected 37 rebounds, 18 assists, 10 steals and one block.
